Fun Facts About Bengals
Do Bengal cats love water, or is it a myth?
One of my favorite facts about the Bengal cat is that they love water! Bengal cats famously love water, so it's nothing out of the ordinary for me to have caught my kitty splashing around in a puddle or attempting to jump in the shower with me. Miniature leopards love to go for a swim whenever they get a chance. They are not afraid of water and usually run towards the tap when you wash the dishes.

History
How is it that we can enjoy the Bengal breed today? Who is the mastermind behind the creation of these little leopards?

The Bengal cat is the result of various crosses made by a California breeder, Jean Mill. Jean dreamed of creating a domestic cat with all the physical features characteristic of the genuine feline Bengalensis and personality resembling that of the standard cat. In 1963, a domestic cat and Asian Leopard was successfully bred, which created the amazing Bengal we all love today!
